Visit our School!
Prior to registering, we invite you to visit with your child and see what Beth Emek Preschool has to offer. Please call (925) 931-1055 ext 5 to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit.
Placement
Placement in our school is determined by the age of the child and space available, day(s) of preference and dynamics of the class. A waiting list will be used as necessary to help determine placement in our program.
Application Fee
A $75 non-refundable application fee and completion of registration materials will hold your child’s place; $50 of the application fee will be applied to the first month’s tuition. Your registration check will not be cashed until you accept a preschool slot. After registration of families currently in the program and synagogue families, registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
Tuition & Registration
Annual tuition is divided into August tuition and then into nine equal installments. The first tuition payment, which will pay for August, is due with your completed enrollment packet. The remaining payments are due on the first of each month, September through May.
For our core program (9:00 am to 1:00 pm), the monthly tuition rates for the 2025-26 school year are:
Members
- 2 days/week: $169 for August; $375/mo all other months
- 3 days/week: $236 for August; $526/mo all other months
- 5 days/week: $355 for August; $790/mo all other months
Non-members
- 2 days/week: $202 for August; $453/mo all other months
- 3 days/week: $288 for August; $638/mo all other months
- 5 days/week: $422 for August; $940/mo all other months

A late fee of $10 will be charged for tuition paid after the fifth working day of the month. Returned checks will incur an $18 fee, and require that future tuition is paid in cash or by money order. If unforeseen circumstances arise and you are unable to pay your monthly tuition as scheduled, speak with the Director as soon as possible to make arrangements for payment.
